Join Carrie Ullery-Smith, education specialist at Planned Parenthood of North and Western Michigan, for a talk about what they really do at Planned Parenthood: the services they offer, their education programs, stories from people they serve. She will also talk about why it is important for these services to exist within our community and throughout our county – with a focus on unintended (especially teen) pregnancy rates and the toll they have on the individual, the child and our economy. She will also discuss how vital it is that children have access to comprehensive sex education, that includes their parents talking about sex with them at home.
