Bo Clampitt speaks on Antarctica!

January 30, 2011 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Bo Clampitt

Don’t miss this journey to the last continent…a place with an average temperature of negative 50 to negative 60 degrees Fahrenheit…and the coldest temperature ever recorded of negative 256 Fahrenheit. Fewer than 50,000 humans have ever set foot in Antarctica! It’s the highest continent with an average height of over 6,000 feet and ice two miles thick, yet it is technically a desert. If you don’t think you’ll ever make the days-long journey through the sea to reach it, you can visit from your chair here in Traverse City as Bo takes us on the journey of a lifetime. See it now before everything melts! Retired from the Air Force, Bo Clampitt has since completed multiple marathons, thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail, and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, among other things. He has set foot on all seven continents.
