DESCRIPTION:Join the Grand Traverse Humanists and experienced river guide Linnaea for a trip down the Betsie River on July 12!\n\nWe will be paddling a section of the upper Betsie River\, starting from its beginning at Green Lake\, and ending at the dam at Grass Lake State Forest Campground. You will need a Michigan state park sticker on your license plate to park at both sites.\n\nMeet at the launch site at 11 AM. It is a DNR boat ramp near the southwest end of Green Lake. Here are the coordinates: 44.598708566611116\, -85.79209113678102\nOnce we are all at the launch site\, we will coordinate a shuttle to move most of the cars to the takeout. The coordinates for the takeout at Grass Lake Dam are 44.591669419239174\, -85.84714883004669\n\nBring your boat\, paddle\, a snack\, water\, sunscreen\, and a change of clothes to leave in your car.
