DESCRIPTION:We’ve selected our next read… it’s going to be I Cheerfully Refuse\, by Leif Enger. Here’s a blurb about it\, from member Lin Foa:\n\n\nThis book\, a Washington Post Notable Book of the Year\, has been described as “part sea adventure (Lake Superior)\, and part thriller\, with a little magic along the way.” It’s set in the near-future\, and in the midst of climate change and societal collapse\, it manages to be hopeful\, harrowing\, and a love letter to books\, reading\, and sailboats.  I found it beautifully written and thought provoking.
