G.T. Humanists Meeting: FLOW (For Love of Water)

Join the Grand Traverse Humanists for a presentation by Liz Kirkwood, executive director of FLOW (For Love of Water), a non-profit based in Traverse City, dedicated to protecting the public waters and ecosystems in the Great Lakes Basin. Her presentation is called “Water for All: The Future of Water in the Great Lakes Region.”

As an environmental attorney for over 20 years, Liz develops and oversees FLOW’s work on key Great Lakes environmental policies designed to promote healthy ecosystems, thriving communities, and access to safe, clean, affordable water for all. Often testifying or speaking before public bodies, she makes frequent presentations to community organizations and professional audiences on Great Lakes issues from Line 5 to water justice and infrastructure financing to water privatization to climate change.
